Working on the smart house today, gen 1 Ring security decided to pack it in a few days ago. Finally getting around to it, we’ve been busy😁. Firstly thanks to everyone for their trust in my services. Second, I got close to 4 years out of my base, I‘m certain the Z-wave packed it in. I figure the system didn’t owe me anything after a year and a half vs a Telus or ADT contract, plus I got to use the system in my smart home automations. Most importantly I’m getting an upgrade to gen 2 with its redesigned keypad with emergency buttons plus some sleeker sensors. Every install that we‘ve done have been gen 2, only I was going old school but Ring monitoring has always been there to safeguard the home. Thanks for your service✅
